Food and wine retailer Booths opened its 30th store today in Barrowford in Lancashire.

The brand new 9,000 square foot Booths food store was officially opened by members of the  Booth family; Graham Booth, Property Director, Simon Booth, Director, and Henry Booth, Specialist Manager, alongside Lancashire producers supplying Booths. To mark the opening Simon Booth cracked a wheel of Lancashire cheese provided by supplier Mrs Kirkham’s.

Since June 1847, six generations of the Booths family have led E H Booth & Co from humble beginners to the present day where the company proudly boasts 30 food, wine and grocery stores across Lancashire, Cumbria, Yorkshire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester.
